San Antonio was ranked 15th on a list of markets with the lowest share of renters qualified to buy a home. As the median price of homes in San Antonio remains around $150,000, only 10% of renters meet the requirements, income and credit score, to qualify for homeownership. For the Alamo city that means that only approximately 60% of residents own their homes.
